I'm baaaack! Brother in law left (in our truck, where hubs accidentally left both of his jackets!) to visit MIL. And I just got off the phone with my sis!
Today is the memorial service for the murdered young man who was a childhood friend of my older boy. Happened in early Dec. They don't know who did it... case is still open. So we'll be leaving for that soon, before the heavy rain starts. Guess you all are napping!
Jane, being out of water is the hardest thing. We can make do without electricity, but not the water! Hope you thaw out soon. If we are having a hard freeze, I take an old rug or blanket and cover the well head. Also cover the pipes that lead into the house. Luckily we rarely have to deal with it. Not sure how everyone manages with the freezing temps all winter. brrrr.
