Granny's gone and done it again

I honestly think that is the biggest problem with the younger generations the lack of common or horse sense granted with some there are a lot to pick from

then why put up with them ???

it has something to do with his insurance. He is allowed more things because he is special needs then regular medicaid. PT, OT unlimited , stuff like that. If he ever needs someone to come help him , say I die , they would come every day to make sure he is eating , cooking, needs to go to the stores. ect...

Wishing, are u near the Russian river? Be safe.
Not very near. I am in creek country, no big rivers. All I can say about it is duuuhhh. People build at the lower elevations on the banks of a river with a huge drainage basin, and are somehow shocked when it floods, on average, every 10 years.

Very short memories I guess, and the fact that they have very accurate and timely warnings to evacuate and some choose not to just burns me up... putting emergency personnel at risk and wasting public resources. The old timers are used to it, have their houses on stilts, and prepare when the warnings come. You should have to be able to pass a test to live along the Russian River!

Now I will step carefully off my soapbox (because there is quite a bit of standing water in the backyard!). The most dangerous thing for me are the giant potholes that always bloom with the first big rains. Glad you are getting your water back on. It's a major PITA. I could never live in the desert. Not enough water for me.

The stuff I'm getting rid of. Bag on front floor board is all kids shoes. Front seat is for consignment; back seat and whatever consignment won't accept will be donated.
YAY!!

DH called me, consignment was already done with sales for the day. So he's bring half of that stuff back.

Talked to DD this morning, guess she is over her mad. she was talking about her car needing breaks and I thought she said it wouldnt start and she hurt her wrist. Come to find out she meant she couldnt start it because of her wrist. LOL I started laughing at her and explained that she has 2 wrists and if one didnt work she could always use the other. Tom did it all the time. Du .. She is off to get her infusion . I read an article on FB this am that says kids get their smarts from their moms. It just cant be. Tell me it ain so...
It ain't so... It CAN'T be so! Must have skipped a generation and all your brains went to the future Dr. Konner.

I am trying to decide if I should see if I can get a vet to come out to the farm and PG test all the girls. OR at least check into the cost of said job. Then I could in the spring separate Porter and any open girls into the big pasture and keep the rest in the tit where we can keep an eye on them.

DD has NO common sense at all. Morning Wishing, cracking me up. LOLOL
My CB is an awesome kid. no doubt. he has 7 more yrs of HS I will be 61 . I hope to see that happen and him off to collage . I think he is starting to realize he dont need to lie to me for attention. or to make himself look better. I am very proud of him.
