good evening bubbles, I mean Banti! missed everyone here at BYC these last few months.
Life has got in the way
Please let Sally, Whites, MC, Liz, Chaos, Benny, Louly and all the ones I missed from the old incubating thread know I say 'Hello &' until I can get some time to re-join all of the great people I have met here.
I have been in and out, checking up occasionally when I can, but it has usually been too late to chat with anyone.
take care, I will be back more regularly in the next few weeks.![]()
My med s. must of knocked everyone out today. LOL Or maybe its so quiet because Im not talking ?
Ode to a chicken bag;
Sitting here with this little heat/cold pack that @Ol Grey Mare
made for me. I would of never thought it would be used as much as it has. It started off as a worry bag. It is filled with flax seed I believe and my fingers became so very sore from picking each one and trying to pop it in my fingernails. . Pretty sure I have held each seed alone . But it made my fingers and hand strong. then my carpel tunnel acted up so it became a heat pack . I have since had it on my neck , back, a lot of sore areas. I was having spasms and I froze it and used it that way and it helped too. Then it went to my DH to warm his hands. He has bad circulation and freezes easy. It has become my pillow for naps in the chair , a prop for my foot /ankle and latest use is a baby chick. It wasnt eating and I was forcing it to. all it would do is shiver when I had it so I warmed the bag and put a wash cloth over it (to protect the bag) and it stopped shivering and cozied right in. LOL I havent seen it stop eating yet. It is very cute with a chicken pattern on it and is never out of my reach.
I love my little chicken bag. It sits so prim and proper and if I need to pass some gas it makes a real good buffer.
Good evening all Played a little xbox with both brother's for a bit this afternoon, made the bread pudding ended up with raisins and slicked almonds cuz that was what was in the fridge. Came out ok NOT great but acceptable
