I baked a cake a few days back.  Its still in there. Some of it anyway 

Some lol I remember when I was a teenager and my dad left "some" cake on the plate. Wasn't even enough for a mouse! My family is big on sweets lol

Sigh. Hubs got a fancy new thermostat for the house. You think we can get it to work?

Some sort of voodoo magic was done with the wiring for the furnace by the silly people who did work on the house. Seriously....shake my head.

What hubs thought would be an easy install is proving to be a bit problematic.

star. My own sweet DH did the same thing with a ceiling fan install. Nothing wrong with the old one, but he got a new one. Now it blows bulbs constantly, so it's just always dark in the kids' room. :/

He's usually pretty good with this stuff.

And the existing thermostat kind of sucked. Couldn't program it or anything.

Same. DH is pretty handy, but he's over it.
