Granny's gone and done it again

Hi all, whatz up lol. Was suppose to have kiddos this weekend, but both boys are sick. They have upper respitory infections & both have ear infection. The 1 year old they are not certain if his 3rd treatment for ear infections since the first week of Dec. was affective or if this was a new infection. DD had to be out of town for a week for her job & of course that's when his 2 week check was. So dr. scheduled 3 week check instead. Ear infection present, that poor child has had like one week since the first week of Dec. where he hasn't been on an antibiotic. That just isn't good for anyone to be taking them that long. Big brother has ear infection as well. Those poor kiddos have a double wammy of allergy troubles. Those keep them sick with something constantly. I also got up with allergy/sinus troubles. Nose is plugged & running at the same time. My sinuses sit so low that they make my ears hurt & give me toothaches when they flair. Have had headache & hurts to even wear my glasses. Hoping it will blow over fast.

On a happier note, granny you are too funny. Glad you all had a good laugh over your toast incident

Sorry about your Candy Corn Hen. There must be some kind of genetic flaw with that breed or something. You sure have not had good luck with the Polish breed.

Twist ~ Looks like your not off the hook with praying for the grandson. Now they both need it

Looks like you were having a good time by your FB post.

Jane ~ Is hubby's infection clearing? Any outlook for going home soon?

Wishing ~ Thanks for asking Twist what was up & causing his grumpies. I knew something wasn't quiet right. We are all here for you Twist. Times are tough, but with friends that care the day can be a little brighter.

Mare ~ So excited for you, a new coop & birds :weee Plus dd & her fiance visiting soon.

I know I've missed a bunch, but I've used all available brain cells for the day :lau

Hi Lisa, Wowzer what a memory ! So sorry to hear about the boys. bless their hearts. I wish I could remember what my friend did for Robert when he was a little. He was the same with the ear infections. Just over and over.. so many antibiotics too. My friend was mexican and she went to a little mexican store and bought 2 things. One I believe was camphor. She put it in a tube of paper. They were both a paste and she put it in his ear and set it on fire. I was VERY skeptical but He never had another .

Wow, bet that was scary. The oldest had non-stop infections. They did tube when he was 2. This is the first infection he has had in about a year. I'm sure the baby will need to get tube as well. Their sister had to have tube too. If they would have had that procedure when my dd was little I'm sure they would have done hers too.

well, Not as scary as tubes but ya, I just played along but did get scared when she put the paper on fire. It was just the smoke that went in his ear and I did remember having cigarette smoke blown in my ear for a pain reliever .

My dad blew pipe tobacco smoke in my ear when I had a ruptured eardrum. It was very soothing.
