Wow, bet that was scary. The oldest had non-stop infections. They did tube when he was 2. This is the first infection he has had in about a year. I'm sure the baby will need to get tube as well. Their sister had to have tube too. If they would have had that procedure when my dd was little I'm sure they would have done hers too.Hi Lisa, Wowzer what a memory ! So sorry to hear about the boys. bless their hearts. I wish I could remember what my friend did for Robert when he was a little. He was the same with the ear infections. Just over and over.. so many antibiotics too. My friend was mexican and she went to a little mexican store and bought 2 things. One I believe was camphor. She put it in a tube of paper. They were both a paste and she put it in his ear and set it on fire. I was VERY skeptical but He never had another .

Now I've heard & have seen ear candling being done to remove extreme ear wax buildup. I would never do it. I would be too afraid to catch someone on fire lol.
My dad blew pipe tobacco smoke in my ear when I had a ruptured eardrum. It was very soothing.Wow, bet that was scary. The oldest had non-stop infections. They did tube when he was 2. well, Not as scary as tubes but ya, I just played along but did get scared when she put the paper on fire. It was just the smoke that went in his ear and I did remember having cigarette smoke blown in my ear for a pain reliever .
