So I think I have mentioned that I have trouble getting rid of things, yes? For example, my old car (29 yrs old!) has spent the last 5 yrs sitting on the driveway, rarely driven. On Friday, my brother called to say the engine in his car blew up (for you car people: timing belt tensioner bearings disintegrated, and a piston ended up destroying a valve) so he needs a new engine which costs more than the car is worth. But, he needs something to get around while deciding what to do, soooo guess what... my little dumpy car gets a second chance at life! Hubs got it going yesterday, but then it mysteriously quit. Dad and my brother came over this morning and worked for a bit to get it started and finally they got it going. He just drove off with it, dad driving behind just in case. So see? If I hadn't kept it all these years, he would have had to shell out for a rental or something. Isn't that great? My hoarding tendencies have just been reinforced big time! hahaha!


Mine looked like this when it was new, except it was a 2 door. Been a good little car and still going!

I was born in Tripoli Libya and ther is a joke on my people here that the only thing that we don't eat in the cow is the rope that have been use to lead her to the Bucher! I eat EVERYTHING and we have wonderful dishes to every part of the animal! There is a wonderful dish here called a " Jerusalem mix" מעורב ירושלמי made from chicken livers, splins and.... testicle! It is fabulous!

Belive me if you can eat a live mussel you will enjoy this dish.

Finally caught up. Dh doing good. I had to redress his foot for 1st time. His sugar is doing good & he even ate butternut squash. My sugar is not good Between 275 & 307. I wasn t able to eat right for 2 weeks. My back is not better

update on Bandit
Vet said he exploded in the bloody diarrhea last night and was in pain so he is on pain meds now. He thinks my bone broth a good idea . Still not eating or drinking but getting dextrose in the iv along with the salt and everything else he needs.
he said he is stable for now.
