my eyes are heavy. LOL way too early to sleep. Lisa, I looked at the turkeys foot. I dont see any bumble. Still swollen and limping on it.

Ally, when I cleaned that rooster and you were talking about potatoes I did the same thing. I opened a can of potatoes and they looked just like that. I sliced them and put them in the chicken soup but it about made me sick. I fished them out of my bowl. LOL

He said no milk even though cottage cheese has milk it is still good for him. Just bland easy digestible things.
I would avoid butter milk too. Cheese is safer.

Today went to hell in a hand basket.

Ugg, GD spent the night and husband home all day. I got nothing done.

It a holiday!!

Sorry jane I did not get your package mailed hopefully tomorrow will be a better day.

I am so glad bandit is home and recovering. Go really slow on the food. Even if he is starving they can have a relapse.
Yes, very slow. Lots of small meals during the day.

My dd's vet recommended cooked white rice as a bland food source. I would think that scrambled eggs would be good too. Please correct if I'm wrong anyone.
Yes, the rice is very easy to digest. That's why rice cereal is one of a baby's first foods. Scrambled eggs have too much fat, so I would avoid them for the first few days, but good to try after that. Better than kibble.

The chicken from the broth should be good too. Small amounts to see how he handles it. When he goes, you should keep track of the poo and see if it's diarrhea. The rice will help fight that.
