Surgeon dismissed dh. Said he couldn t believe how well it healed since he is a diabetic. Went to eat at Golden Corral. Told dh not to eat the sweet potato casserole(marshmallows on top) or blueberry pie. He ate both & 2 hrs later his sugar was 574!!!!!!! Mine was 155.

Holy crap. You know you can make a lower sugar version of the sweet potatoe casserole. I do it with praline pecans on top.

I need to find fast food with lower sugar and starch content. And easy things to make at home. I got my head stuck on meat. snacks I guess.

Guys while I was looking for granny an aquarium hood on Amazon I came across...incubators! I have one with a fan and turner sitting in my cart. AND a candler! Which is supposed to be pretty good for darker eggs...

I'm trying to talk myself out of it. But then I think of all the little fluffy butts that could hatch from it. It holds 42 chicken eggs!

Help!

Tell us some things you like and don't like, and I'll be happy to help. No seeds, right? That rules out tons of fruits/veggies. I made this right before we left:

1 whole purple onion 1 celery stalk/bunch, leaves and all 1/2 lbs (or so) baby carrots Whatever meat is on sale 2 teaspoons minced garlic. I coarsely chopped the onion and celery, added carrots, and a drizzle of olive oil. Meat on top, garlic and salt/pepper. Covered with water, then cooked high for 4 hours (I was in a hurry) and low for like two more hours. I served it over brown rice that I cooked on the stove. Literally my whole family loved it and got seconds, which almost never happens.

And I know it's a foam incubator but I haven't found any others with good reviews and they are like 2x the price!
