Ain't too bad, actually... I just have one day a week that I spend in town running errands and such... Works out well.

I'd go less if I could but lettuce and fresh veggies don't keep for longer.

do you know that just a few weeks ago I read/figured out that lettuce keeps longer if you don't cut it with a knife...

With wild waterfowl it is best to contact a local licensed rehabber (you can find lists through your department of wildlife, etc) who is best equipped to raise them in a way that might result in them being able to be released as they should be -- in fact, being in possession of them without proper permits can leave you open to all sorts of issues. The issue is, these may not have been true "wild" ducks given that there are so many populations of released domestic waterfowl in places like where your brother released the ducklings - so they may have been the result of those birds mating.
