20 yrs. ago I would of picked that bator up, eggs and all and chunked in the back yard and did a couple stomps on it just for good measure. Today all I can do is just sit here and look at it and cry. I watched that one die .It looked very shiny when it was trying to zip. should of known that was sticky chick. shell was hard for even me to open. I didnt hear the pip when I grabbed this one. I tried to revive it. I seen a very small spot of meconium (sp) in there as well.
 
This is why I'm in no hurry to incubate. I had such a bad hatch last July. Temps were too low. The developed & pipped but very few hatched. I'm excited to have a broody to set some(8).

Yes. Yes you do. Look for the ones that start with a big F. Those work great. Sometimes even come in a wine bottle!

So what does that mean? Humidity too high? Maybe it's your meters not giving accurate readings.
