Two of Pancake's babies are gone without a trace.

They were missing this morning but I was hoping that I'd at least find their little bodies when it was good day light. So I guess either they got out or something got it. Only Buttermilk is left.

Looks really dark! I have a blue Wyandotte with slate legs and WHITE toenails. Looks like she's been to the salon! I bet the white really stands out on the Honas.

Wishing, only one white toenail so far! three chicks and 5 pips.

Also went out to check the honas, and it's not Buttermilk (white toes). This one is solid black, so probably Maple since Shortstack was slower than the others. I assumed it was Buttermilk because it's so fast!

Camping, 5 steps forward & 2 steps back. Got other chickens moved out of broody's pen. Gonna have to put a bigger tarp over the kennel. Only 1/3 covered now. They started eating g chickweed & grass immediately. Put 2 Australorp hens in there with the birchen roo. Gotta figure out something for them to lay eggs in.

Mine is hatched as well, In a brooder with a paper towel for humidity. Navel is good. One eye is good one swollen but there. No energy but big mouth.

OH and NORTH DAKOTA uses duct tape my aunt even used it to fix her toilet seat.

That and bailing twine and WD-40 all you need
