soda and salt . same thing you add to plain flour.

Shes not a brat !  Shes bored.  She needs smarter chickens like her to keep her busy.   She said, get me a mate or im gonna wake you early every morning..

Hubs won't let me get any more chickens (that Murray mcmurray catalogue never came harrumph!) and my friend with the speckled Sussex rooster gave him away to a petting zoo...

no it aint, you guys are messing with my mind ! How do you make cornbread ? Or dumplins ? I wouldnt know what to do with plain flour. Only thing I have ever used it for is cookies.

Me neither on the self rising flour. I think they put baking soda in it.

Wrong, looked it up, baking powder.

But then you can't use it to make delicious chocolate chip cookies which calls for baking soda.
