Granny's gone and done it again

4 of them are 5 yrs old, and 3 of those still lay (Wellie, New Hamp, and EE).  The buff Orp has rarely laid since her pullet season, but she's the therapy chicken for #1, so gets a pass.

yes, TSC. Its go be a big tado. pony rides, petting zoo, food vendors, charity's  . I am so glad I didnt take this over when asked. This guy is doing a great job.

Cb wouldn't want to go with you? Is your DD still having a grudge

I havent collected eggs in days what a mess out there. they are going behind a bail of hay when my EE is sitting and laying back there where I cant reach. You have too many chickens. I think you will enjoy them more when you don't have so many. I wonder if you will be able to resist new ones...

I havent collected eggs in days what a mess out there.  they are going behind a bail of hay when my EE is sitting and laying back there where I cant reach. I bet she was sitting on 30 eggs just piled on top of each other . Then she left those eggs and went to a different pile . Theres probably 50 eggs laying over there.

I have been depressed and just didnt care. I need that hay out of there and they would go back to their nest box. I seriously need to get some fire in my behind . Motivation, get mad , something .

One day I will get pics of my English jubilee orphs and you will drool No lie. Nicest birds I ever had. You seen them as babies. They sorta look like speckled sussex but way bigger, way friendlier .

I check more than 3 times a day if I'm home. Mostly because I'm trying to get to the eggs before the dang jays get them.


Hubs set up the Ninja Turtle cam in the coop to see if it really is jays egg eating, or if it's a bad hen. Last 2 years, we've caught jays being bad.
