Granny's gone and done it again

I followed Sally's tutorial, over in the notes section in the first or second post on her thread.

And it's just for hatching , right

That's all I use it for. I followed the incubator instructions. I could use it for incubation but I don't want to hand turn right now. (I have before.) it's easy to let the styro do the work then hatch in this. Way easier to clean, too.

Turns out this baby shower is 2 HOURS away

Oh, sweet tea ----they don't even have sweet tea here, they give you the "no, but there's sugar you can stir in" line -- um, no, that is NOT the same thing. The only place here you can get sweet tea is McDonalds and even they manage to screw it up........good thing I know how to make my own, lol.

Parents. Seriously no clue.
So the black is coming from dad....do you know the breeding behind him as far as parent breeds....but as to how they'll end up actually feathering in is another matter given how different down and final plumage can be.

Actually I do full name of Yak is CRAZY SHEILA and yes named her after Robert's ex she is the mother of Wagoner.
See, I knew I wasn't crazy (my mother had me tested, lol).

Yep! And we are a little behind because they decided last minute they want a book instead of a card

After almost $100 on the gift and baby blocks we had to make. Very gutsy people.

No sweet tea!? Where in tarnation are you living?

I usually get water with lemon unless I know I'm going to be cranky lol then I get a sugary coffee!

To the bolded - gifts that are demanded are no gift at all (per Veggie Tales, lol -- perhaps a copy of the episode dealing with that idea would be a nice gift to the parents?). Yes, books are becoming the "thing" to do at baby showers, but if the request was made in a demanding tone they'd be lucky if I showed up at all, with or without a book!

The NW -- coffee places on EVERY street corner, but they look at you like you have three heads if you ask for sweet tea in a restaurant.

No I agree with you. But my mom is a pleaser and I've tried for years to teach her what no means.

Sweet tea is the norm here. But I only know of one coffee place that actually sells tea lol

OK- checked my notes and I think I've figured it out.

So you're right, we won't know how they feather. Could be lots of gold in there.
