I found some ground flax seeds. (of course I haven't used it yet

) Makes the nutrients more available for digestion. The seeds usually go through intact for me, except for the ones that get stuck to my teeth. It's weird how sticky they are!

Morning, Oh boy ! We got the storm this am. Thunder bout rolled me out of bed. lost electric for a min. It has to be very loud to wake me up.
Robert put a corned beef in the crock pot last night and when I opened my bedroom door that smell hit me like a ton of bricks. Nothing else in it. Just meat. LOL

He put some water in, didn't he?? Hubs love corned beef. Me, not so much.

I just got pizzed off. Roberts new worker doesnt seem to think I need to know where they are going. I asked and he wouldnt answer so I asked Robert and then he chimed in , to town. I said Robert where are you going ? and again he said To town, Madison, its a town.. They walked out the door with me hollering I dont think you are funny at all. Its all I could get in before the door closed behind him.

Calm down a bit now. The overarching goal is to make Robert independent. That means you are going to have to let go once in a while. Don't make an enemy out of this new worker... Robert seems to like him so far, and I can't think of a better thing for him that someone who is like a friend. I agree the worker should not be encouraging secrets, but talk to him about it without getting too mad, preferably not in front of Robert. You are mad because the little rat was disrespectful, but that is a separate issue from what is good for Robert. (and now I will shut up)

So, I caught up on 24 pages, since I missed most of yesterday. Then it took me forever because my dad called. He was in a chatty mood. Now it's time for me to get going and pick up the kid from school. Heavy overcast and cold today... little drippy and supposed to be raining sometime soon.


Granny, sure hope you leave that kid all his body parts and most of his dignity.

Kiki, the only time I see it in the stores here is around St. Pat's day. It comes already brined. On the list of meats I want to eat, corned beef is at the bottom of the last page, just above liver.
