I look like a poodle if my hair gets wet. Not a good look on me

It's harder for blue eggs to lose weight.

Why is that? I moved them to the outside edge where the ones with a nice dip are. The one chick looks cramped in the egg and a few others still have a good bit of room.

If they're not chilled, that's my next best guess. Maybe that's what it is anyway? They're acting puffy and lethargic. :/ I'll just let them warm up overnight.

I wouldnt wait til tomorrow. If it is, it moves fast. It wont hurt to treat them . I did a preventitive for mine when I moved them to the big coop.

Something about the pigment? The blue eggs, green eggs, extra dark brown eggs, and jumbo sized all have trouble losing weight at the same rate as other eggs. My blue and green eggs were a full day behind the leghorn eggs.

What kind of heat are you using Camp ? Are you sure its putting out full power ? I know different kinds will "lose strength" for lack of better words.

One of those big heat lamps. I change the angle to increase/decrease heat. They were not needing as much heat, so I had it angled mostly away.

Interesting. I got the incubator running dry which is what I did last time and they all hatched in the same day. Hopefully it works this time too.
