They look heathy. See the poop. Twist they came from rural king. I don't know what hatchery they use. They were bought the 23 this month. Looked to be about 2 days old. You can get replacements with receipts. But I don't want anymore from them.

First pic shouldn't have been there. Pads so use to me showing off camps chicks.

Yes!   His cherry crop  :gig   was better than ours last year and our tree is huge.  We are trying to figure out how to cover it and get a few cherries this year.  Tons of little green ones, thanks to all the rain.

Sorry about the chick.  Did these come from a big hatchery?  They shouldn't have cocci troubles...  camping might be right about them getting too cold.  That can cause organ damage and there's not much you can do about it.  Making sure they are well hydrated is important to give them a chance to heal.  Water for them is more important than food.

Who needs a rooster when you've got a Nugget?  She wuvs you and wants to make sure you see her before work!  Everything I've read about the SS say they are quiet.  :idunno

She is a wooly girl!  Is mama Comet woolier than the others?

I gotta convince the hubs to sleep with the window open and take a vid.

You ask that granny not twist. I can't see

Danna can you give them more heat? Just keep them all around warmer, around 85 degrees in the whole brooder. That might help them a bit. Maybe the bathroom with the heater running if you don't have another lamp.

The hona sale didn't work out. I had them boxed and ready to go but at the last second the breeder (who was going to deliver them for me) said the buyer want to meet in Baton Rouge, which was not where the breeder was going. It was an hour farther.

But now I'm thinking... I've said all along that they shouldn't be used for breeding because they have faults that don't meet the swedish standard. But since there is no American standard, are they still desireable? They are two of the very blackest cocks I have, combs and everything. One is too small for my tastes, and they both have side sprigs in their combs and purple sheen in their feathers. So maybe I should go back to asking breeder price?
