Granny's gone and done it again

Tutu is the guinea. She shared the box with Auntie Soot, since her mama Cinder is locked away with littles.

My banty cochins keep digging little nests and sitting in boxes, but no eggs yet.

Maple is good. The second broody had a little and a full zip the last time I looked. I'm going to call her Flapjack. Broody 3 is going to be Crepe. I should call her Croissant, because she's a little flaky.

Thats funny Camping. Just went out to feed. Another baby same nest. None in any of the others. If I am able later I will go candle the others and if they are no good I will pull these from killer and give them to the others. Should of done that a long time ago.

Granny, I gave them to Cinder. She was mama to 9 last fall and just wasn't happy with one. She was setting on anything she could find and leaving her poor baby. It was wandering through the pen today and when I tried to catch it the crazy thing ran through the fence and into the woods. It got in the barn somehow and wandered through there while I grabbed Cinder off the nest. So it's also much safer now.

Humidity was down to 21, added a medicine cup of water. Humidity up to 60. Used paper towel to suck some up. Humidity 61% Temp down to 98.6

Then the vet showed up almost 2 hours early,

pg's the 8 cows and bangs Hailey and total bill was only 155.00 Nice young vet

after we were all done I asked if he would be willing to do it again next year and he said sure NO PROBLEM

Everyone also got poured today except Porter he got a little pissey when we ran all the girls thru the chute and then instead of going thru a gate to re-join them he JUMPED a 4 or 4 1/2 foot sucker rod fence and cleared it.

that beast can jump THAT high!?!? wow
