They have one near me, but the chickens have to share with the cows! 100 yrs ago, this town was called the egg basket of the world. Some of the old redwood coops are still standing as is one of the old hatchery buildings, but it's not a hatchery any more.

Wishing, does your net go through the phone anywhere ? Is your cable also hooked to phone line ?

Yup, the internet connection I am using now is through the phone line (which is getting checked today because the phone service is terrible- loud humming, static crackles, and the occasional party line! The wifi that STILL needs fixing (needs new modem) is through a Comcast tv cable. So 2 separate lines.
