That's his therapy cat? Poor little thing. How is Robert?

No, his therapy cat died 2 yrs ago or so. This is my cat that decided it wanted Robert. I thought him 18 yrs. but found pper work today. he is 16. So he has been with Robert longer then his therapy cat was but he is really everyones cat.

I remembered it died, but thought he had a replacement?

Robert is not good. The depression will set in then the behavior problems . the ecolalia .. rocking, nail chewing. Im just not ready for this. I am hoping it wont be as bad this time .

I did get him another cat. there are 2 here. Olga. She is no replacement. Only think I have ever heard Robert say about her is she is an askhole

couldnt sleep last night . horrible sense of dread on me.  I heard things, people walking in the house. thought it was Tom , nope snoring away.  Went to talk to Robert and told him what was going on. told him about under my bed for the last couple night. . He looked under the bed and said nothing there.  I wasnt buying it. I stayed in my chair . Robert gets up today and says where is Shadow ?  I havent seen him.  He found him, under my bed. He has never gone in there before . He is dying. and he chose to do it right under me.   We brought him out and put him in stars bed and in my bathroom. He wont drink.    I gave Robert 3 choices .  Vet for euthanasia, wait and see or try to put him down  myself.   I suggested the vet would be the best but pricy. He picked the vet. He has an appt tomorrow.  It is the same day my mom passed.

I honestly dont know. Tom commented yesterday ? Morning that he didnt feel good and was on a bed in the family room so I know he wasnt there that night

Can you call the vet or shelter ahead of time? Arrange a viewing of other cats for adoption?

Can you guys imagine your best fried id dead and you just go pick out another ? Guys, My kid isnt social . The only friends he has had his whole life Is these 2 cats and Tom and myself. They mean just as much to him as I do. He would lay down his life for his friend.

I know, granny. I'm not trying to be insensitive. Some people believe it helps ease the pain. I went a year after my dog died before I got another.

I didn't know if he would like to leave with one. It's symmetry, full circle to bring one back home.
