Forgot to say it flips over on its back and plays dead. Jumps right up when I move my hand.Campings hona is smart, like a puppy. every time I stick my hand in there it plays dead. hahahaaa

What are you using? It should say on the bottle. If the chickens are out, maybe they will eat the ticks and you won't need to spray.If and its a big IF I put the poison down would they be able to free range after how long ?
Can we have a new picture ?I still can't decide if my Australorp chick is a pullet or not. It's a little over 6 weeks now. I guess if it goes red in the next week or two, I will know. It acts so odd. Never had a chicken like it. Challenges everyone, everything! It flew out of the pen today, and was crying over by the dogs. Seemed pretty happy when I picked it up.
