Notice the pic on the right is shown from the front. The nerve passes from the back through the pelvis and then down the leg. It passes by all kinds of stuff in there.
Again, I hope this is not the problem, as you know it is very painful. But certainly a possibility following a twisting injury.
It says "source of disk impingement" so yes you should ice that, but I would also ice anywhere it hurts. Note: I ain't no Doctor.that pic of the butt, dos that say source ? Like, thats where the ice would go ? Lower back.. even though thats not the pain area ?
