I am also very cranky today. Maybe it's just Cranky Tuesday.

This just about sums up my yesterday. Strangely, I thought it was Wednesday until about 6 pm!?! I accomplished next to nothing.
After visiting my folks, I returned at 10:10 pm to two of these blocking my driveway and a smaller truck across the street (probably a supervisor). Only one car at a time could pass through.

You see the transformer in bottom right of the second picture?

It had blown and had to be replaced.
I pulled over to talk to workers."You know you don't have any power, right?"
me:"No, I haven't been home " Duh! So I had to go away for a while. I finally made it inside with power and comfy clothes an hour later.
Fernie's post reminded me that it rained off and on all day yesterday. My dogs think that is their cue to dig holes to China. Rant over.

Morning, Looks to be a rain day here. Which means I will have to be in the house with the 6 minions, three dogs, and 4 indoor cats. There will be fights. I will most likely be kicking backsides today as I am not in the mood for fighting.
Trying to convince the other half I need a Dog. He has a dog, our daughter has a dog and the cats belong to whoever will pet them and feed them extra food. The third dog is Baby a Saint mix that is about 10 yr old and is in second puppyhood.
I already checked the critters this morning. Everybody is hiding under cover where they can. Want to get things set for the other two pens we are going to put in this year. One will be for our two Ewes, one for the pigs and the last one will be a bonus pen for isolation.
I have to get 5 more of the mini coops built, a new tent set up for the AGH, 3 swine huts for the big pigs, and at least 6 more rabbit hutches. Plus I have two sheds to get up and the garden to finish planting. We do not need any more rain right now, but from looking at the forecast we will be rain today, Friday. Saturday. and Sunday. It is not supposed to be dry until next week.

I was yesterday and was tempted to believe in the power of the garlic! But I was also taking regular doses of meds. I skipped the last doses and couldn't talk when I woke up. :/

Today shall be spent with me in bed knitting, making the rest of the household clean, cook and be merry. lol
I have to wait on the sheds as we need the ground dry to get them up. One will be down here by the house and the other will be at the far end of the property where we have our veggie garden and fruit trees. The plan is to remove the diseased and dying trees from the area and put in fruit and nut trees to replace them. We will also be adding natives back onto the property in a few years.

What kind of dog would you choose for "yours"?

Bernese Mountain, Greater Swiss, Saint Bernard or a Bloodhound. I like big dogs and I can not lie. lol The other two dogs are Yorkies. I am not a fan. Never have been. Everybody keeps telling me how great they are. I honestly would love to get rid of the 2 yorkies and get two big dogs.
