Granny's gone and done it again

Granny, he's got a chocolate lab... eats chow chow... Is there a theme here?
pertnear, your grandson is so lucky to have you! My mom watched my second son for a few hrs, couple times a week when he was a toddler. They had a grand time together and he learned a lot from her.
I think my grandson and I teach each other.

well why did it drown ?
1. Article might be pure nonsense, BUT, if you read at one place it talks of people who witnessed the swimming scooping the poults out and they were "cold and exhausted" If not rescued they may have all died.
2. People can swim, yet many still drown.
3. Did it drown? We don't know how it ended up in the pond.
I still think it was injured during one of your recent storms or at least separated
from its brood and then became chilled and died.
4. I don't know the age of this baby, but I know baby chickens and quail drown in waterers all the time.
5.
