Granny's gone and done it again

OH and back to my wood/timber story. I got to menards this am and paid for 10 posts at 14.99 each when I finally found them they were so picked over the only use left for them would be kindling.
Back in to get the next cheapest at almost 30.00 each and then up to the return counter and then pay the difference then back to truck and off to find both the posts and a helper. He managed to knock 3 timbers off the rack and have them glance off my right thigh. :barnie

So they are now at the farm unloaded. Rod was suffering from to much heat yesterday from helping get the garden all done. I think Vickie quilted him in to helping and then "chop chopped" his ask. :lau
they hit you ? You arent supposed to be helping.

I've always wanted ducks, but won't do it unless I live somewhere that there is a pond. They are just too nasty otherwise.
well I do have the seasonal creek and seems to be holding water better since Rod and I partially blocked 2 of the 3 culverts just before it flows on to my "good neighbor's land south-southeast.

And muscovies are NOT supposed to need water as much as "real" ducks
