Granny's gone and done it again

We'll see how tomorrow goes. The other boy's mom packed extra food just in case, and the girl isn't as picky. I'm hoping as he warms up and gets into a routine he'll do better.

Two years ago the returning boy had a fit at the pool (he didn't want to get out) and two staff had to put him in a restraining hold until he calmed down, because he was going to hurt himself or someone else. So far this year he's doing great and even went back to his seat when I told him there was 5 minutes til supper, and to please sit back down.

They say the boy who won't eat is "mildly" autistic. I'm not sure what that means exactly. I do know that he pretty much shut down when he realized the lack of eating might cause him to go home. BUT he had eaten candy at the pool and ruined his appetite. That's why he gets pb/j at the pool now. We won't be charging him for that, either.

It means his autism is not severe.

Mowed for an hour-orchard is the hardest part of the mowing.

dont look like I am going to finish mowing. Its so miserable out.

I waited til an hour before dark to mow. We had a wind storm today & power was off for an hour.

I have 2 broody LF and with this heat and them I am tossing eggs. I gathered twice today and still didnt like the way they looked. I think its too hot to put them in a cage. Maybe not. I dont know. One of them is a polish ! They rarely go broody. I read where someone said dunk them in ice water.

I did trim a couple more trees after my nap. The sun was down but I was soaked .

I got a few limbs to trim in the orchard & need to cut couple of hedges so i can get pasture gate open to the upper pasture. Gonna mow the rest tomorrow come h or high water cause i gotta till in garden after mowing is complete. i didn't get a nap today because of storm.
