Haha Kat is my eldest but smallest dog (3.5 lbs) She's also dog aggressive. That's why I said she's picky
If I get a pup it has to be smaller than her or she tries to kill it.
My first dog as a kid was from a oops litter between a lab and Aussie. Both working dogs on the farm. My parents took my brother and I and we each picked out a pup. Best dogs ever. They'd track moles and bring them to me, turtles, etc. AJ passed a few years ago while I was away at college. Hardest finals week ever.
Edited it how??????
LMAO you are actually going to believe Banty ??![]()
that could be very tricky you might have to wait until she goes to her "reward" in heaven. Because " All Dogs Go To Heaven"
Yep loosing a dog is IMHO one of the hardest experiences in life.
Hopefully that's a decade or more away. She turned 6 in march. I probably wouldn't survive Kats passing, she's more like my kid than a dog.
But a performance dog should have good conformation. No way you can work all day in the field without good conformation. Even if your dog has the drive to keep going eventually the body will break down. I do think the show people have ruined a lot of breeds but if you try to breed for the original function it would include good structure.#3 does have nice ears and solid looking bones. One of the BEAUTIFUL THINGS about the FIELD line of springers is looks, body confirmation are way down the line of things to look for. The field line is all about ability, brains, desire to please, performance in the field. Basically what a springer should be or originally was bred for instead of trying to measure/fit into the current standard of beauty.
Did you all know that in the beginning both Springers and Cocker spaniels came from the same litters and what they were called was based on height alone.
a worthless one, IMO.Kiki, theres a shot for cocci ?
