Granny's gone and done it again

Hu me idity is high today. GD & me want fried okra. Non in freezer cause mine didn't come up good last year. To Walmart we go. Bought asparagus, kale, broccoli, fruit trayl & veggie tray, along with okra.

Wishing I'll check when I get home but I bought flock feed at Rural king and it's not purina. But it's pellets. I think purina is crumbles
Thanks Alley. No Rural King here. Only TSC is 30 mins away, everything else is independent (mostly fru-fru) feed stores. Purina I get is crumbles... Seramas too small for pellets. If I can find a pelleted all flock, I will try it for my layers. Have to check at the other feed stores to see what they carry.

Robert gave a possible good reason to not put kittens in with chickens but I still want to. He says kittens immune system isnt developed enough for chicken poop.
Nurse called, Dr. ordered blood draw and meds. Woke him up headed out to find lab closed and insurance dont cover the meds. We got half of them but thats plenty AS THE PAIN WAS GONE. Its 95 out. Not counting heat index.
Same here, but without the heat index. Pain was gone huh? Wondering what it really was. Does crohn's pain just go away like that? Maybe he swallowed a couple barking spiders!

It's Nutrena brand. This is what I've been using. Little biddy is too small to eat the pellets as well so the youngsters have been getting crumbles. But if I can ferment pellets then I don't have to have 2 varieties sitting around.
Hope you find something!

It's hot here too. Thank goodness for ac. Gonna freeze some water bottles for putting in the girls' water see if that helps too.

New transmission cooler came in today too for my wagoon. Yay. Hopefully hubs can get that in this weekend but if not....well. I got the truck that I like mostly registered (gotta take it in for a smog) so worst case I take that to work Monday.

Which works - we had a bunch of pallets in the yard the other day. I need to get me a compost bin going.

Happy Friday y'all. I had so many plots of things to be done....feels like I didn't accomplish all that much. This week has just worn me out I think.

I use layer for everything after 6 months of age. Chick starter til then. I ferment it also corn, wheat. I feed weeds & plant parts to chickens. They are my composters, star. Grass clippings peelings, pea hulls, everything but raw meat.
