Ha! When I called my dad this am(Ottawa) for daddy's day, it was a degree hotter there than here! (Course they're also three hours ahead and I called at around 8ish my time so 11ish over there....) and humidity! They got it!

At least it's a dry heat here

Good afternoon from the oven California! 12:45 and it's hit 101 degrees.
Happy Father's Day to all the dads out there. We are having our indoor cold picnic Father's Day extravaganza in a few hours. Supposed to get over 103, and I will be happy if we can keep the house under 85. Not betting on it.

Went to church. Left here at 1:30 to look for DD who was having tire trouble again. She wasn't where she said. Hope someone helped her. Looked for her van where she works & where she lives. Not at either, not answering phone either. Where's my aspirin; I'm stressing out again. Was 75* & cloudy when i left, 82* & sunny when i got home.

A few weeks ago DH wanted a golf game at the nice course for Father's Day. Great! Easy peasy. Then he changed his mind. Now I'm cleaning the front porch and yard. It had gotten pretty junky and needed to be done, and he's been making comments about it for a while. When it's finally beautiful I'll post pics!
