will this type of waterer works for the lings it looks like both wider and deeper water well then the "normal" type I have

NOPE I am very pleased. Especially pleased that 2 of the new girls I got the first part of Oct are expecting. And the longer they take the more I think Porter is the dad.

Twist, that will be good for a while. when they start feathering ( and it takes them a LONG time) then your gonna want a little pool or something.

9 jumbo eggs total I usually end up with a dozen a week total. About 75% of the med and peewee's are Easter Eggers

yep that is in the works Vickie is on a mission to find a free kiddy pool if not I will get a smallish / low sided water trough, stock tank with a DRAIN

If you get this please let me know if it is easy to fill ? Does it have the little cap you have to screw on and off when you fill ?

The chicks I got this spring are already eating oats along with grower/starter. I use the Nutrena NON_medicated have had great luck with it.

I guess my backwards running chick has found his forward gear and it back to normal.
