I agree. I knew when I got them that they weren't true silkies. I didn't even try to correct them. When I first got chicks I was supposed to have leghorns, pro reds that they called rir, and br. The br were actually slw.

right. That's why I hatch my on eggs. If im going to buy mixed stuff there anyway I may as well hatch my own mixes.

I've run into a "river sludge" and I might have just told them off, in a nice way

slw are pretty. I bought 3 sl and 3 gl this spring and sold them at the swap .
