Great Idea!
I can be the blonde one..just call it Sister!
Sounds like a good plan! I might get polish from a lady near by.Mine ate the green goo. It was in October so they weren't dehydrated. I'm seriously thinking about ordering some silkies cause if i split this pen into 2 pens, i can have a pen for them & n xt year they can do all my incubation for me. I would like to have more polish. I have 5 now.
I just flip the bedding if it's looking rough. And add more straw. It's pretty quiet here, I'm going too.
I use costruction sand & PDZ in all my coops. All I got to do is pooper scoop the chit. I rake it to the center in a pile, then scoop it into a pail to dump on the compost pile. It has saved us lots of money with the cost of shavings, plus my compost pile doesn't take as long to break down. If the sand start to get stinky I mix a bag of PDZ into it, good to go.I just flip the bedding if it's looking rough. And add more straw. It's pretty quiet here, I'm going too.
