I agree. I like the tail long on some but if it's a working dog unless you kept the tail buzzed it would be a mess.IMHO dew claw removal is a MUST have seen what happens when not removed. And the docking thing is an AKC requirement which some are trying to get removed. Personally I like about 2/3 or 1/2 of the tail left, leaves them enough tail to use as a "steering rudder" but not so much that the tail is covered/caked/coated in burrs and such.
Honestly the pups "scream" more and louder when removed from mother's "
dinner plate" then when the tails and toes are done.
