its their nails that get me. coal black and way past due.

Scooter won't let me do his feet. I have to have someone hold him. I think all his nails are white but he's such a baby about everything, he yips and screams if you just clip the tips. If the vet needs to sedate him to look for that foxtail in his foot, I'm going to have her clip his nails too, and then we will start our walking program, and he'll keep them worn down on the road.

I never understood why anyone would argue with her. She obviously knows her stuff, but still people would argue. Crazy.

yup, I had sick chickens and she was called in and seemed very strict. I would thread hop to hide from her. LOL She bullied me into buying a scale. Or thats what I thought at the time. I know her better now and think she is the best. so smart and helpful .

Got someone coming in the morning to pick up some chicks. I need to pick 2 that look the most girlish to keep. These things are monsters at 2 weeks.


I also need to clean the brooder again they've started roosting on everything in sight. Including the waterer....they knocked it over earlier. Luckily it was close to empty and not full!

I take Kathy's word as final. She provides wonderful information sources, the math and reasoning behind her instructions, and personal experience. I love that.

I also really like that she leaves it up to the person to decide when enough is enough for the bird, and provides info accordingly.
