Granny's gone and done it again

With practice I'm sure he'll get better.
Maybe she's holding out because she needs more attention lol

Ahh. Gotcha.

and to be honest I will just be happy if he was right on who was preggers and who wasn't gestation range from 8 1/2 months to 9 months depending on what paper you are reading.

Evidently not as according to him it was supposed to be granny and then 19 and Maiah and then Star was supposed to be real late.

In the vets defense he had never actually worked with Yaks and is more then willing to continue to work with them. AND IS REASONIBLY PRICED !!!!!! WHICH IS GETTING TO BE PRETTY RARE.
you edited this but I see so many things wrong with this statement.
In his defense ? In the yaks defense, they need someone that knows what they are doing and I will be willing to stand there with my arm up their ass and tell you something I dont have a clue what Im talking about and am more then happy to do it as many times as I can because I have a car payment.

I like that habit.
:wee So I have permission to ramble?

thank you LOL If thats a bad habit I am doomed .
Nah. You're not doomed, you ramble about stuff we all understand. I have a tendency to go way off in the weeds, both in real life and on here... Since I'm turning into more of a breeder as a contrast to the pet or non SOP folks here, I often find that the intriguing topics to me are things most just plain don't care about.

I'm toying with the idea of going on other forums to blabber about showbirds, but I haven't worked up the courage to join.

How will I tell my blue orps from my lavender orps

Don't the BBS variety have a dark lacing as opposed to a uniform colour?

so far he did get the number of preggers right and since he is used to working on "real" cattle late june early july is LATE He seems like a nice YOUNG man pretty fresh out of vet school. I am sure with more experience with/around animals he will get better. AND at least he was willing to come to the farm.

their not yours are they ?
Yes, they were. Got them from a local breeder to try to break a broody. Fail! So I ended up raising them, but they got sold because BOYS.
