I've gone on research kicks before in which I spent several days mostly reading and writing down everything I could find on something..... Wasn't good for me. Lunch? Dinner? Who needs that?
I had to learn to moderate my obsession with figuring out everything about a topic.

Now I can't do that anymore, obviously, due to Rugrats.

I'm abandoning the kitchen this week. Walked in to check on things. One girl was frustrated because she can't use a can opener. The other was about to put a metal bowl in the microwave to soften butter.

God bless America. I got them corrected, then left again. I can't watch that train wreck.

He's not even sleeping at home this week because we are short-staffed. I'm tempted to move into the cabin since we have a full-time sitter.

Ready for a break in general. We're having nice cool weather right now, that's helpful. Earlier I asked them to clean the walk-in cooler because it was full of outdated leftovers. They also cleaned the freezers and pantry, threw away all my frozen casseroles and frozen fruit I was saving.
