I planted this for my Mom, she loved them . also a freestone. She never got the first peach. Its 5 yrs. old now.

Granny, I have been told that in heaven what ever we desire we can have. I bet your mom is up there snacking on peaches.

pert, I cant pull all them peaches. The limbs are tall. I obviously dont know how to take care of fruit trees. If I cut the limbs in half will that kill the tree ?

Granny, on October 6,1995, when hurricane Opal blew through, it took down our 4 pecan trees. Lots of them fell through out the state because they were heavy with nuts.

We got heavy rain about 2 minutes before we got home so had to unload everything in the rain. My tallest tomato plant fell over, cage and all. It was already wet from rain the day before. They said we might get 50 mph winds but i don't think it was quite that bad.
