Wonder if a vet would say whether Benadryl would help. I can't say for sure how dogs react to it. I will look it up.

@granny hatchet .... the prison program does grooming... super reasonable and they are great with behavior issues

they do ?? thank you. I will contact them. He had parvo and the vet had to shave his legs. said he had a heck of a time.

Wishing, Do you remember what the vet said he was ? Some kind of terrier ?

He could be a mix of many things...his parent could of been mixes too.
If his mom was terrier his dad had to have been a bigger dog or had bigger dog mixed in.

Our vet has prescribed benadryl many times for snake bitten dogs.

Ok Granny. It says you can use Benadryl as a mild sedative unless the dog has high blood pressure, glaucoma or cardiac issues. Dose is 25mg tablet for 25 pound dog. So 1 mg per pound of dog.

Granny..I had an oops years ago.
My pure bred Akc dogs, mom Golden Retriever, dad Boxer had a litter.
The vet tried to tell me that the pup..who was full grown giant was a Mastiff.
