Granny's gone and done it again

average adult yak yields about 1 pound of inner fiber a year. Yaks have TWO fur coats. like a lot of dogs Chesapeaks come to mind or golden retrievers. Outer hair is longer and not as soft to held shed water and snow and then the inner layer for warmth.

Are those rats nests you have inner or outer or both? Do they separate it when they process it?

So, I don't like to be an alarmist, but I am worried about Pam. She left so quick and didn't seem like it was from being sleepy.

she's been doing that a lot lately I have noticed since I and red got chewed out for not saying good bye or BRB

We used to fly up I65 in a blinding snow, probably would have been skeered if we could have seen lol

We call that "warp speed" -- when the snow flying at the windshield looks like special effects out of a sci-fi movie

Have to do like me. Carry around a little bailing wire and bubble gum to reattach parts as they fall off

Sounds like my dad's approach to life when he was still around

My skin has slowly been moving out for awhile now. Most of the time I have no idea how I'm bleeding.

That would be my FIL -- can't tell you how many times I've noticed him bleeding and he has no idea what caused it this time...."old man skin" is what we call it here. I just stock up on bandaids for when he's here.

I guess they have machines to do all that now. I've only seen the pioneer way.

Gone the way of everything else.......there is something to be said for things being done the old fashioned way....

Maybe... I know she has been pretty down and in a bad mood. Hopefully she is in dreamland chasing rabbits. (That's what our dog used to do. I know it was rabbits. She had to run really fast!)
