Granny's gone and done it again

average adult yak yields about 1 pound of inner fiber a year. Yaks have TWO fur coats. like a lot of dogs Chesapeaks come to mind or golden retrievers. Outer hair is longer and not as soft to held shed water and snow and then the inner layer for warmth.
Except for a non shedding breed that has hair not fur.

DG didn't have lighter fluid yesterday. Said it was a seasonal item they don't sell after July 4. That's crazy
Now come to think of it, I've never seen it after the 4th either!

Bread and milk is for families with kids. Milk for the cereal, bread for PBand J sandwiches.

Here it's milk, bread and eggs. I always joke that they're making French toast lol At the mention of bad weather the shelves get emptied of those.

Sounds interesting. So how much do you get each year?

depends on when or if we get to them the adults are NOT fond of being in the squeeze chute while we brush them so we tend to just grab the big wads and try to get rid of any major tangles. Part of the reason I want to keep Hailey she is SUPER wooly and young enough that I think she would get used to it.
