Now thats what I call a nap. LOL 4 hrs ? Got up and took my meds, fried some burgers, talked to DIL and stuffing my face.
They have made plans to come visit on Aug. 25th til the 30th .
neighbors dog out there again. Chased Binks up the roof. Hmm.. Thats not going to work.
Still need to take care of the chickens.

Fried squash & onions. Shelled & cooked pinkeye peas. Gotta cook cornbread & smoked sausage & supper will be done. Dh on his way home from Atlanta airport. Haven't fed chickens or collected eggs yet. They had grass/weeds & mealworms this am. Also cornbread & scraps.

Jane, your meals always sound so yummy. I haven't made cornbread in ages. I can't find a recipe I like. Trying to make it like my mom's but no luck.

Even when she dont cook it sounds good. LOL
Jane If your like me I dont have a recipe for cornbread. I just make it and Sometimes I make it sweet. Like for chili.

I have a question please, The babies in the pole barn are still small . Too small IMO to join the seramas coop but it is very hot in the barn and I am over protective. One is a bantam polish I am pretty tickled with. Should I take them to the coop where they will be cooler ?
