I always was a messy eater! Dad tried to feed me banana baby food when i was little. Pow! I hit the spoon and the banana goop went flying onto the curtain! I think i got my point across. Still hate those things, the texture, the smell....

I have a dog & an army of chooks to clean up any food messes. Sometimes they con me out of meals. The boogers.

@CapricornFarm Good day, thanks Cap. Hard work, and hot. Finished painting what we've built of the coop, all walls studded in and three up. Last wall and roof planned for tomorrow. Then cutting and painting siding. Then windows and doors. Getting there. The youngest kitty "helped" and I had to try to wash paint off her. Key word is "try".

Well, more boring picking up leaves, sticks and pulling weeds. Outside most of the day, picking rocks and clods of clay where the new dirt was put in ... picking glass and bullet casings from former fire pits. Planted my three pumpkin plants. I am excited to go get building supplies and get busy building the guinea cage and the coop! Have a long list. Hope i can sleep tonight.

Ok, so take off more clothes and get rid of blankets. Use a fan

Ok, get some hot water bottles. Fill them with ice. One goes under each arm and one between your legs.

I made some tubes about 4inches wide and 2-3 ft long out of old pillowcases, filled with uncooked rice, sewed them shut. I keep a couple in the freezer to drape around my neck, across my knee, wherever I need it cold. Lasts long enough to get me through the worst of a bad hot flash. Or good for a sprain.
