Granny's gone and done it again

thanks Banty, No wishing, that looks like a mimosa . They are hibiscus . The darker pink are the original / wild type and were called corkwood flower.
I have mimosa, that is different, but i see your leaves are very different--- more like hibiscus, just not sure exactly what it is.

This is mimosa type. The hummingbirds love them!

Beautiful place, Banty! Love the duck pond idea! I could do that easy, with rocks and a pond liner. Then just let it drain and spray it clean. If I placed is strategically, I could get my watering done at the same time!!!
Merci. Them stinkers weren't actually supposed to be there.... That's the pool cover, I just plopped the hose on it while I did something else and came back to find them pooping all over my nice clean pool cover. <<Mumble>>
Guess I get to wash it again. :p

How in the world do you have a pool in the middle of the artic?

Granny, I think your plants are a Hardy Hibiscus, also called Rose of Sharon. They are related to hibiscus, all in the mallow family (along with Hollyhocks). Big way to tell is they don't need any care once established and the blooms only last a day or two. Does that sound right?

It even hits 90*F once or twice in July--August....
