Successfully snuggled Cow and let all the campers pet him. He was trapped in the broody suite (like a dummy) and when I pulled him out both Bettie and Herkey started beating the chit out of EVERYONE, including me. It was savage. Luckily they really only wanted Cow.

They did!they loved his feathers and webbies and caruncles. They also got to hold a hona roo they named Batman, and a juvie roo they remembered from the homesick girl earlier this summer. There were a few warm eggs, too. And they took turns looking in at the broodies and babies.

Leftovers tonight. Heat sapped my energy big time. And my left hip started doing something new, like it's not quite in the socket, muscles all spasmed-up. Took a muscle relaxer so I'll be all loopy in about 20 minutes. I'm a panty waist when it comes to medication. Can drink a sailor under the table, but I'll sleep for 14 hours straight if I lick the dust off a tablet of Valium.

You lick pills? Yuck, most of them taste nasty just trying to swallow them.

I take iron pills. I have trouble often and they seem to help. I feel weak if I forget it even just one day.

Makes you constipated though. Eat prunes with them.

I remember being in 4H and getting to pet chickens and rabbits. That sure was fun for me at that age. Oh heck who am I kidding. It's still fun for me now lol. They'll remember today the rest of their lives I bet. I bet you enjoy teaching them about things? It's great to see kids learning about this kinda stuff.
