Granny's gone and done it again

Good morning. I just tried calling granny and her phone was BUSY! Imagine that! Hopefully, whoever she is talking with will post an update soon.
She is still in ICU, but the only reason why, according to what I overheard the nurse say last night, is that the unit she would have been transferred into had no beds available. It probably had to to with having the appropriate heart monitors or something.

i wonder what time she will be sent home and how she is getting there.i told her have ambulance take her home..she said they had mentioned a taxi..
I'm not sure either. It hadn't been decided by last night, but she was told they would get her home, and I expect the insurance will cover it. (???) The biggest issue on releasing her is if she has no more chest pain. I hope she doesn't lie about it just to get a smoke ... but wouldn't put it past her!!!

Thinking waiting is as bad as being an inmate there.
Sometimes I think that, and then I remember my 2 times in, having babies (not even being sick) and it is not something I would want to repeat... so I will sit gratefully on the bench and twiddle my thumbs waiting.

just off phone with Pam They brought her "crap/slop" for dinner/lunch not sure if she is going to eat it or not. They (hospital) still haven't figured out just how to get her back home. Cab seems to be the current choice BUT who is going to pay for it ?? I suggested that maybe one of the local churches might give her a ride home BUT it might include an hour "infomercial" :lau

Tom and Robert have fed the chickens. Robert had called to find out what to do and then Tom came in and said he already did it.

She has talked to Robert and a step daughter for sure plus a bunch of us here.
