The "city" we are supposed to live in is half an hour away. Much closer to Gretna. Population 1,237. The bank closes for hour and a half lunch!

I called the place near me a city until a friend went into hysterical laughter and set me straight.

Also, population density makes a big difference. A larger town near hear has 1,000 people, but it's large in area enough that traffic is when the deer take longer than usual to cross the road.

Just made it home. No eggs at all from POL pen. And my BR sent up a false alarm egg song as we left. Hmm Quartz IS pretty chatty, probably didn't want me to leave.

Thanks, the guineas like the fact they can hide in the enclosed part. Man, they can seriously produce a lot of poop for small birds. Hatched July 11th. Omg, this dog is driving me nuts! Outside, it's the stick chasing. My arm is tired and there is a rut in the woods where she goes to fetch it. In the house she keeps trying to sniff the kittens and the other dog. They hate it and hiss or snap as the case may be. The mamma cat is in heat again. So there will be a lot of meowing again. I think it is time for my vacation!

I want A guinea but I know I'd end up with a pair at least. Then it'd get out of control like my chicken situation

I am making a little trailer like thing i can put under any of these cages to move them. Big wheels on it, $15 each so i didn't want to buy them for each one. I will hook it up to the Mule and take it where it needs to go.
