Granny's gone and done it again

Hi wishing, how is everyone holding up? Has hubby come home yet or is he still with his mom?
Hi Lisa. It's been tough. Hubs is still up there... been 2 weeks now. He has spent 24 hrs a day caring for her. I will be surprised if she lasts through the weekend.

DD's MIL is back in the hospital. She was diagnosed with stage 4 Lymphoma 4 weeks ago. She has had 1 really really potent chemo treatment so far. This has lowered her white blood count so dangerously low that they gave her some shots this week to try to increase her count. She was rushed to the hospital a day ago in such severe pain. They have kept her to try to control her pain & her WBC is so critically low that no one can even be with her out of fear that they might bring a bug in that could kill her. Her oncologist said she has only had this cancer for a few months but it has rapidly spread to 5 locations. Would love it if anyone would include her in your prayers.
The poor lady. How terrible for her. And 54. :(

Good night
Goodnight h2o. Belated happy birthday.

Granny how much water do you need per day? If you hang a hose up in the air any where the hose droops will hold water so it would have to be held up by something . Like a cable. It would have to be taut . It would have to be high enough to not be in the way .

This seems like the most economical to me , unless you have some poles and cable to repurpose . You would have to attach it about every foot to prevent the droop . I thought of a barrel heater they start at 240.00 unless on the off chance you found one used . If you could get a barrel off the ground a keep a fire going on the coldest days ,just make sure you dope it with ACV to prevent slime build up.
I think @duluthralphie invented a waterer heater of his own design for next to nothin .
A barrel with a dipstick heater might work , the only thing about barrels unless they are marked you never know what was in them . Could be petrochemical stuff .Tractor supply make has an immersion bucket heater.
Right now this is all I can think of , I will thunk on it some more. I'm sure with the ingenious folks on here we can come up with the answer.
