do you know of anyone that has neck pain as a symptom of the heart ? I have never heard that . It feels like a muscloe but from my test this am it is the med.

women often have different symptoms than men. Poorly studied though, most studies were of men. You have chest tightness, shortness of breath?

OK Please call your heart doctor, or his service, whatever to report what is going on? Will serve them right for not telling you what to do if this starts up again, or not writing it down, or not explaining it until you understood and could repeat it back to them correctly. I have no sympathy for them.

Yes, I had neck pain & when I told cardiologist about it he didn't answer me. Later said I didn't have blockage in carotid artery even though they never did a test & I wasn't telling him I did. Neck pain happened when I had tightness in my chest.

Regarding church:

My dad felt the call to ministry when I was three years old. He's still preaching, Methodist. He had vocational certificates and left a good job in natural gas to go to college (when I was 10) and seminary (when I was 14) and live hand-to-mouth to serve the church. So I've seen hypocrites and I've seen miracles. I've been an unbeliever, and a skeptic. I've hated the church, and I've sacrificed my last $5 for a tithe (and ate food I pulled out of the trash for a week).

DH is not a preacher, but we live in ministry. We try our best to live by the Acts 2:42 model of the church: 42 The believers devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, to the community, to their shared meals, and to their prayers. 43 A sense of awe came over everyone. God performed many wonders and signs through the apostles. 44 All the believers were united and shared everything. 45 They would sell pieces of property and possessions and distribute the proceeds to everyone who needed them.46 Every day, they met together in the temple and ate in their homes. They shared food with gladness and simplicity. 47 They praised God and demonstrated God’s goodness to everyone. The Lord added daily to the community those who were being saved.

So that's why we always have people living with us. Why I'm always cooking. Why I'd rather give things away than make the money I should. It's our calling to care for and tend the community.

We've been to cold, heartless churches. Sometimes it's taken years to find the right one. Right now we have two good ones we love, each with sincere and loving pastors. The congregations are full of broken, humble, caring people. Some are rich and some aren't. Some wear designer clothes and salon hairstyles, some wear blue jean shorts with home cuts. Doesn't matter, because we are all the same community. The churches we currently attend work in partnership with the schools, promoting literacy in the low socio-economic schools. They work with the scouts, and they support the camp. I am in awe of their wisdom and compassion.

I understand that what I believe isn't the same as everyone else. That's ok, I'm not in the business of conversion. I've been called to love. That's it. But I do urge those of you with bad church experiences to try again. I can help find you a place. I have a friend in Georgia with a giant beard and tattoos on every inch of his body. He'd been burned by churches, but wanted to try. So I called a few in his area and got personal assurances that he'd be treated well on his visits. It's what community does.

@KikisGirls I concede. waited a while in my chair with out the nitro and no neck pain. I started having chest pains and took the pill. hr. later pain is moderate to sever.
edited to add, still having chest pressure .

You should go to the ER if you are having that much chest pain.

89* feels like 95*. Put 2 more gallons of okra in the freezer. Going to pick it again in the am if not raining.
