Poor Bubba. Hope he didn't have blueberries for desert. That's the worst to clean up. Are you a sympathy barfer? Sometimes the smell gets to me but I fight it... don't want to clean up more.

how about just a cheapie for this batch. stick a couple stakes around the plants and then wrap/cover with heavy clear plastic. Just make sure you can "get back into the plants" or put a sticker on that say's do not open until Christmas.

It's a good idea. I'd have to figure out an easy way to unwrap when the sun comes out so they won't get too hot. Stewed tomatoes before you pick them? Vented greenhouse would be better... plus I could hang out in there on cold days or maybe grow tropical plants. Home grown bananas? I would LOVE papayas. Wonder if they come in dwarf varieties... research time!

Our staff person from Ireland. Her visa was delayed so she missed the whole month of June. That's why she has stayed through August. She's teensy and wants an American husband.
