Granny's gone and done it again

Will she get full credit?

Yep. She gets full credits! :thumbsup

Wow. Never seen things so specific before.

They're calling for 99 today. Ugh. Still hot. View attachment 1126988

I'm in north county. Ever notice how its always 10* hotter than they say it is? :he I'm trying to wrap my brain around how it will actually rain tomorrow. Its 89* INSIDE my house right now (1* cooler than yesterday) I think I'm gonna puke.:sick

I don't know how some of u have been working so hard in the heat. I went out to make two cuts on sheet of plywood & I am exhausted & over heated now. 83* feels like 85*.
It is not easy, which is part of the reason i am still not done. I was working some days in feels like 100+ ! I only work in the shade, and if my glasses steam up i stop to go in and cool off. Even when it is cool like today i overheat and have to come in. The good part of this light rain for my ditch digging around the coop is that the soil is soft instead of like concrete as usual. I drink usually 8 x16 oz bottles of water daily to stay hydrated. But it is no picnic, for sure.

Dh wants to pay someone to bush hog a patch of kudzu & hedges behind the barn. I said take that money & buy me 2 goats. We can tie them to cement blocks & let them eat it down. I would have to check on them several times as I went about my chores & put them in our little pasture at night. All doable. Want a male & female so we get a baby & cAn milk her.
Win win

How do you even wear clothes inside!?

Its not easy! Thin boxers & a tank top are too many clothes. I want to go laydown, but the bed & sofa is just more fabric. It makes me feel guilty complaining when I know all the animals are covered in fur & feathers. Its been 110* in the coop the past few days & those poor quail look like they're gonna die. :th

Maybe you can spray them down with a spray bottle and water.

Would you believe I don't have a spray bottle? I do have frozen water bottles in there, grapes, watermelon, electrolytes with ice cubes & a fan... Sheeseh, now I think about it I treat those quail better than my own kids.

I literally just drove past a chicken coop with a AC in the window.

I wear a tank and shorts in the summer when it's in the 80's or 90's.

It's 61 today
